Since 1995 this prayer page has helped millions of people around the world to become more grounded in their spiritual path and has enhanced the lives of those receiving our prayers. The power of prayer has been well documented through the ages, as well as in a variety of recent books written by several well respected authors ( please read Prayer is Good Medicine by Larry Dossey, M.D.; How To Know God: The Soul's Journey Into The Mystery of Mysteries by Deepak Chopra, M.D.; The Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson ).

We invite you to send us an e-mail with a request to have a prayer said for you
or someone that you know who is in need of additional assistance. Enter "Prayer Request" in the subject line or use the Prayer Request Form below. We will then post their name on this page of our web site.

We are asking people from around the world to come together in prayer every Monday evening at 9:00 P.M. EST, or whenever you have a moment to pray for yourself, a friend, or some on our list. Together we can make a difference.

"Recently on a Monday evening, shortly before 9:00 P.M., I sat in a soft chair and closed my eyes. I listened to my heart beat and observed my breathing. When peace descended on me I began to say my prayers. As I prayed I felt a hand being placed softly on my shoulder and then another on my head. Others joined
in and I could feel their presence. I continued to pray and felt surrounded by a blissful energy. My feelings of sorrow and pain were healed. Then one by one the hands lifted away. After prayers I was so empowered. I felt like a warrior ready to take on the challenges that awaited." — Maggie

Many years ago I started reciting "The Prayer of Jabez" every morning after reading the book by the same name. The following is my own personal version of this prayer that has brought a greater awareness into my life of the power of daily prayer. It is quite amazing.

David's version of "The Prayer of Jabez":
My Lord, daily you bless me indeed, and I thank you.
My Lord, you expand my territories with the immense gifts you've given me so that I may serve others, and I thank you.
My Lord, you are always by my side, and I thank you.
My Lord, you protect me from harm, from illness, from lack, from worry, from doubt, from injury, from addiction, and I thank you.
My Lord, you make sure I harm no one, and I thank you.
My Lord, you keep me on Your path of service, faith, love, compassion, joy and hope, and I thank you.
My Lord, you allow me to experience heaven on earth through nature, love, and more every moment I am alive, and I thank you.
As God dwells within me and all around me, I thank you.
And so it is. And so it must be. Amen.

You can say your own personal prayer or follow these simple guidelines:

-Close your eyes and take four deep breaths.
-Mentally relax and open your heart.
-Ask that the prayer you are about to say assists the individual (or someone else you may know) listed here.
-As an example, "I ask that God, The Heavens, The Universe, or My Spirit World hear my prayer and bring this individual the peace, love, health, or happiness
they desire. Amen."
-Know that your role here today is bigger than you may ever know. Now, trust
and believe that the best will occur, that God or your higher power will bring to
the forefront that which is needed for our growth.

The Soul of Dennis H., A very tormented friend took his life in the last day or so. I do not have all the details regarding if he did this slowly with alcohol and addiction or.. ended his life abruptly. I am enormously saddened and filled with guilt as I drove past his home on Thanksgiving and did not stop. Please pray for his soul and send love and light.

Prayer Success Stories
Not everyone who has their prayer answered for health, love, healing, prosperity or deeper spiritual path writes to us to let us know how they are doing. Over the years, though, we have received many letters from people whose prayer requests we have posted here have received amazing answers. One man's cancer "disappeared" within a few days of his listing here; a couple on the verge of divorce found themselves in a renewed marriage; a distraught father out of work miraculously received a job offer from a total stranger. This is an update on Dick P. The quadruple by-pass surgery went well! Please continue to pray for his recovery and physical therapy as he heals.
