Being normal will totally hold us back in life!
What does it mean when it’s said that we’re living a “normal life“?
We’re probably just following the crowd. Our life is OK but not exciting. We may have accomplished really good things a few years ago but maybe we’re falling back into the world of comfort, not expanding our zones, not taking risks, just sort of allowing life to come as it will.
When we live a normal life, we gossip, because that’s what normal people do.
When we lead a normal life, we look at the reasons that we don’t have the money or the body or the love or the spiritual connection because of either bad law, or other people holding us back, or we had a terrible childhood, or we went through a horrendous divorce… We project all of our problems on other people or circumstances.
That’s just being normal.
So what does it look like to live an abnormal life, one that creates something so different than maybe what we have right now?
Number One. Get out of your comfort zone. Get up an hour earlier every day and put it to good use on your spiritual path or your exercise program or your service to the community.
Number Two. Start to look for those “outliers“, what society may call, “outcasts“. They think differently, they may wear different clothes, they have unique hobbies, they have unique perspectives on life… These are the people we want in our life now!
Number Three. Stay off of the news! Oh my Lord, all of the normal people in this world are glued to the news constantly, but us abnormal ones stay away from it, because we know it’s all about sensationalism, selling advertising, it’s not about the truth and it surely isn’t about uplifting lives.
Number Four. We hire someone to help us create an abnormal life, a counselor, therapist, coach, business advisor… There are millions of experts out there that can help you get out of your comfort zone, and learn new tasks, new ways to handle money, new ways to be in love, new ways to be happy single, new ways to radically change your body.
Number Five. The abnormal ones in society are the ones that are making the biggest difference in the world! They don’t listen to people who say “that would never work, that’s a crazy idea, you’re going to waste all your money, you’re going to fall on your face, you’re not smart enough to pull that off.“
So where do you want to be in life?
Do you want to live an exciting abnormal life? Or do you want to stay stuck in mediocrity?
Only with great risk can we receive great rewards, so I want to challenge you today to go after something big, something huge, something even maybe you don’t think you can accomplish… That’s what abnormal people do.
